On "Loista hed" on the Swedish Island Gotland there are 80 Russes living fairly undisterbed.
They have one "summer area" one "fall area" and one "winter area" and they get their hooves checked twice a year.
They do get fed during the winter but during the rest of the year they live on what they find.
