It is still the same hoof and the hoof shape is just as important. An unhealthy hoof shape is just as harmful for a shod and a barefoot hoof. I promise that even if you have 30 years of farrier experience we will still have things to teach you. That doesn’t mean that we know everything or even that we know more than you do but still we will have extremely important things to show you. We don’t accept to be caught up in the barefoot – shoeing bickering and we don’t do politics. Everybody has the same right to more knowledge and the possibility to make an ever better job keeping horse hooves at the best possible health. For us one step in the right direction is just as valuable where ever on the scale it is taken. We don’t want to take your customers from you and we don’t want your customers to go elsewhere. Four years of research with about 1000 dissected hooves in combination with countless numbers of rehabilitated hoof in combination with luck and persistence has lead us to some really interesting insights. Teaching over 800 students has also taught us a model of teaching that is extremely easy to both teach and learn.

Why even an experienced veterinarian should attend our clinic. No one can stop evolution and beside the fact that veterinarians have an interest in every thing that improves the health of animals. “The proof is in the pudding”. There is a new category of hoof care provider out there delivering extraordinary results and they are much too many to be neglected. It is only a matter of time before the mainstream has changed direction. If you agree with this new direction or not is not what is up for questioning. All over the world horse owners are turning their head in this new direction and no professional anywhere can afford ending up on collision course with such a large part off their customers. Especially not in a field that is not their own specialty. What we teach is based on international experience, common sense and the laws of physics. If scientific proof is that someone else can repeat what we do and get the same results them everything we say is proven scientifically. At our school in Sweden we have 23 professionals that we personally have trained to match our results and they are doing it on a daily bases. Together with the 800 Swedish horse owners that have got their training based on the same principles the numbers are large enough even for statistical evidence. You will not be the first veterinarian telling us that what we teach is not what you were taught at vet school but most veterinarians that have attended our clinics accepts our model of explanation and are today treating horses accordingly with excellent results. Why horse owners should attend our clinics. If you are doing the hoof care your self or not doesn’t really matter. Your horse is your responsibility and you need all the knowledge and information you can get to decide what way to choose. You also need all the knowledge to be able to detect indications of problems before they have become a real issue. You can not rely on anyone else to have this knowledge and even if you can get both your farrier and your veterinarian to attend the clinic you still need to attend it your self because you will always find people who has not attended the clinic and therefore don’t have the knowledge.
The only thing you will not understand after the clinic is why this is not common knowledge. |
